Born in Devon, but raised in Gloucestershire, Steve Davis founded Dragonfly Forge in 2020.

Building on the expertise and craftsmanship acquired over four decades in industrial and commercial metal design and construction, Dragonfly Forge was created to bring those specialist skills to the world of metal garden sculpture, with designs inspired by the natural world.

Besides being an accomplished designer and artist/craftsman, Steve is a countryman first and foremost.

In tandem with his metal sculpting, Steve is a sheep farmer.

He is also a classic motorcycle enthusiast.

Dragonfly Forge’s first public showing was at the Frampton-on-Severn Country Fair in September 2021 where his ‘signature’ insect garden sculptures were displayed.
